Laura is a sustainability professional based in AECOM’s Melbourne office. During her 6 years with AECOM, Laura has worked across varied projects in healthcare, commercial, residential, and educational sectors to deliver high performing sustainable developments; with recent work including the Centre for National Resilience project in Melbourne and the University of Melbourne’s Fishermans Bend Stage 1 Campus. Laura is experienced in driving integration of sustainability into policy at a local, state and national level including work with the Australian Building Codes Board and Victorian Health Building Authority. With a passion for architectural design, Laura is interested in achieving high comfort and low energy buildings through efficient design and configuration. Laura engages with project teams to develop, operationalise and deliver sustainable strategies and designs, with belief in a passive, “first principles” design approach.
