The world is facing a climate emergency that will require innovative solutions with buildings needing to take a leading role. So the need for innovation to improve the performance of our buildings is now greater than ever.

In late 2018, Shane Esmore embarked on a Global Study tour. The purpose of this Global Study tour was to gain a better understanding of how the rest of the world is meeting the climate challenge through high performance building design, innovative building technology and consulting approaches.

In this webinar, Shane Esmore will share his experiences from this study tour that included over 80 high performance buildings and technologies in 20 cities and 10 countries over 27 days. The presentation covers a range of innovative projects which are championing innovation and sustainable performance through their design, construction and operation. Shane shared his insights into design trends including passive house, dynamic facades, demand response, HVAC Systems, Solar PV, and low carbon building materials amongst others.
