The Western Parkland City Authority(WPCA) was set up by the NSW Government to oversee the delivery of the Western Parkland City, an area of 800,000 hectares covering the Blue Mountains, Camden, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Penrith and Wollondilly councils. We are responsible for planning and delivering the Bradfield City Centre, the new city being built next door to the Western Sydney International Airport. We work closely with local government and the Federal and NSW Government agencies responsible for delivering major infrastructure projects in the area, including the airport and the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport line. The Authority is also responsible for attracting industry and investment to our city as we help create new and diverse jobs and opportunities. Our vision is to deliver Australia’s greenest, most connected and technologically advanced city while maintaining our unique environment, culture and diversity.
