FAQs
•    Do I have to complete the Green Star Fitouts advanced training? If you are planning to work on a Green Star Fitouts project, we strongly recommend that you become accredited in the Green Star Fitouts rating tool to be better equipped in leading and working on Green Star Fitouts projects.
•    How is Green Star – Interiors different from Green Star Fitouts advanced training? Green Star Fitouts is a significant overhaul of our interiors rating tool. There are new categories, minimum expectations, credits and more. Our updated Green Star advanced training reflects these changes.
•    I am targeting the Green Star Accredited Professional criteria under the Industry Development credit for a Green Star Fitouts project. Do I need to also become accredited in the Fitouts tool if I am already accredited under the Green Star – Interiors tool? Yes, you will be required to complete both the Green Star Fitouts advanced course followed by the GSAP Fitouts exam in order to meet the criteria.
•    When must new projects register under Green Star Fitouts? From 1 October 2026, all new fitout projects seeking certification must register under Green Star Fitouts. Projects can register from 18 March 2026. During the transition period, new projects can register under either Green Star – Interiors or Green Star Fitouts. Green Star – Interiors will remain available for new registrations until end of September 2026.
