Green Star submission guidelines

Submissions Guidelines for all Green Star rating tools are available here. This includes tools and versions which are not current, but may still be required for reference purposes. The Submission guidelines contain the requirements and benchmarks (credits) that a project must comply with to achieve a Green Star rating.

The products listed below with a blue icon represent the Legacy versions of our rating tools and the products with a dark green icon represent the Future Focus versions of our rating tools. Despite the colour, all are available to help you on your certification journey.

Accessing the guidelines

Submission guidelines are free, but an account with the GBCA is require to access them.

Submission guidelines can be purchased here for $0. The PDF file will become available in the ‘Submission guidelines downloads’ section of your GBCA portal.
Alternatively, submission guidelines can be downloaded from Green Star Resources.
